What Is Beacon Falls?

Beacon Falls
This is a custom made neighborhood for use with The Sims 2 game. It was originally put together in 2006 by myself and eighteen other forum members from TSR (listed below). With 'the team' now pretty much gone from the community, I have been updating this new version through October and November 2011, after having scanned them with Mootilda's HoodChecker program. There have also been a few 'housekeeping' changes made, such as weather proofing the houses and community lots for use with the Seasons EP.
I've rewritten some of the family descriptions and bio's, and I have changed the spelling of Aimee Pembroke's name, to just Amy! The memories Hood Checker found there was something wrong with have all been fixed, and in some cases the order other memories appeared in have been altered so that they make sense, or they might have been changed to appear 'red' (if this was applicable). Two Sim aspiration levels have been changed to reflect their storyline, and there are other 'odd little things' where I wondered "why did I do that?", and these have been changed. Hopefully for the better!

The full version of Beacon Falls contains the main town of Beacon Falls, it's vibrant downtown area, Lustre Point, and the local college, Balise University. As with the EA/Maxis original neighborhoods, Beacon Falls includes families already edited and set up in certain situations, for you to take a look at and decide to play out their dreams, or wreak havoc in their lives! For people with slower connections, lower specification computers, or those not wanting to use the downtown and university provided, there is a cut down version called Beacon Falls Lite. This only includes the main town, and has fewer townies. You can find both downloads in their respective posts, the Lite version has a link to files for the missing Uni and downtown, if you want to add any of the buildings or sims from either of those to the game yourself.
Please note that the Balise and Lustre Point BF'Lite'-Lots+Families files have not been weather proofed, or otherwise updated.
In the links to the right of this page, each neighborhood or subhood will be clearly labelled, as will the installation instructions, add-on lots and extra downloads. New Stories pages have been added to give you an idea of the families, so that you'll know what you're getting!
New for November 2011, some of the downtown houses have been made into proper apartments, please note that many of these will require EP's and SP's up to Mansion and Gardens, and can be found on the Downloads pages.

Beacon Falls 'Full' requires - The base game/ University/ Nightlife/ Open for Business EP's, as well as the Family Fun Stuff SP. (Or any of the later expansion packs)

Beacon Falls 'Lite' requires - The base game/ University/ Nightlife/ Open for Business EP's. (Or any of the later expansion packs)

Balloth requires - The base game/ University/ Nightlife/ Open for Business EP's. (Or any of the later expansion packs) This is a business district containing ready made families with their own storylines.

Prometedor requires - University/ NightLife/ Open for Business/ Seasons and Bon Voyage.
You NEED to have Bon Voyage installed. This is an island Bon Voyage vacation destination based on a Spanish/Mexican/Baja Coast theme with its own custom locals and tourists. If you still want Prometedor but have missing earlier EP's, it would be a good idea to check the lots before sending sims on holiday there in order to replace any missing items with other wall coverings, floorings and/or furniture.

Isle St. Croix requires - University/ NightLife/ Open for Business/ Seasons and Bon Voyage.
You NEED to have Bon Voyage installed. This is a mountain Bon Voyage destination, but with no added sims. If you still want Isle St. Croix but have missing earlier EP's, it would be a good idea to check the lots before sending sims on holiday there in order to replace any missing items with other wall coverings, floorings and/or furniture.

Mootilda noted in Balise University, that there had been a few kitchens with no available space for food preparation...these have been checked and fixed! I also have added extra want slots and locks to sims supposing to have attended university, and you will find their diplomas either on their house walls, or in their inventories. I have made a couple of edits to the 'Lite' version so that it better matches the 'Full' version, such as jobs and aspirations. Though I will not promise that both versions are exactly the same, bio and family description wise!
No characters have been added or taken away, none of the neighborhoods have been further played, except for the Fairfields in each version; because the lot had a floating chimney problem, and the game had to be unpaused for two sim minutes to enable Pescado's stuckobjectremover to zap the offending thingamyjigs!

Lots for Balloth came from: elpemmy, R.Quest, Cadiva and lechapeau, after a request for a business district from elpemmy.
Lots for Prometedor came from: daisylee, Cadiva, billybop428 and lechapeau, after a request from msblue1979, asking for two vacation destinations.
Isle St.Croix was made by lechapeau, it was tested by lechapeau and daisylee.

Installing Beacon Falls

Beacon Falls should be thought of as custom content, please Back-Up before adding it to your game. That way, if you have any problems, you will have something to go back to. We have tested Beacon Falls and found no major problems, but there are many differences in people's games and if you feel that we have overlooked something, feel free to let us know.
There are a couple of minor annoyances that you will find listed in the READ ME included with the folder, but nothing that should cause you real problems.

Beacon Falls has been made as Neighbourhood 7 (N007); to check which neighborhood numbers you already have in your game, go to your My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Neighborhoods folder. If N007 already exists, don't worry: if you're happy editing the files, you can use a utility such as Ant Renamer to update all the file names.
If you are unfamiliar with changing the necessary file numbers then I will be happy to renumber them for you. Contact me using the email address at the end of these intructions, and I'll be happy to send you an alternative.

Instructions are the same for the 'Full' and 'Lite' versions of the download
Download and extract the zip file, along with these instructions you'll find a N007 folder. Place the N007 folder into your neighbourhoods folder, if you are using the djsbeaconfalls.package (mentioned a little further down, but only for use with the 'Full' version) then add that to your Download folder and then start up your game.
You should be able to see Beacon Falls in the neighborhood menu.

If it doesn’t appear in the menu, quit the game and try the following:

Take out the Beacon Falls N007 folder from the above location and place it on desktop (or somewhere else that you consider safe).

NOTE: The folder has to be completely outside any of the game folders.

Start up your game and use the 'create a new neighbourhood' button to make some dummy hoods; these are placeholders, and will be deleted after you have everything working. You will need to check which number 'hoods you already have and make absolutely sure that you don't have an N007 folder in your game.
Go on to make enough dummy 'hoods, up to and including N007.
Now, quit the game.
Go into your My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Neighborhoods folder - there you will see several folders with numers from N001, N002 etc, up to N007.
You must delete the newly created N007 you see there, and replace it with the Beacon Falls N007 folder from your desktop (or wherever else you put it).

DO NOT OVERWRITE one N007 folder with another or you will corrupt the neighborhood.

Go back into the game, scroll through the neighborhood selection menu and Beacon Falls should now be available.
Once you know it is working, you can delete the dummy hoods.

The djsbeaconfalls file:

There is a fuller and more detailed description regarding this hack that can be found in the folder containing the djsbeaconfallsbonus.package.
In short:
The hack was made by jfade, who was able to program things to happen to some of the families; things which should make their storylines a little better or worse, in a
similar way to that EA/Maxis used to introduce some of the storylines when making Pleasantview/Veronaville/Strangetown etc. It was an idea jfade suggested, and which
the creators of the families invloved thought would add to the gameplay. In some cases there won't be anything 'bigger' planned than a sim walk-by.
It is completely your choice whether you want to use this hack. It will not harm your game: the effects have been coded only to work with the specific families/sims involved
and it cannot affect your other neighborhoods at all. If you don't want to use it, you don't have to; Beacon Falls will work normally without it. It was created as way of kick starting some of the fun in Beacon Falls!
If you want to use it, add the djsbeaconfallsbonus.package file to your downloads folder BEFORE playing Beacon Falls. requires - The base game/ University/ Nightlife/ Open for Business EP's. Beacon Falls-'Full Fat'

There have also been cosmetic changes made, Amy Pembroke has had the spelling of her name altered (it used to be Aimee). Sims supposed to have attended university now have extra wants and slots, their diplomas are either hanging on their walls, or are in their inventories. Some memories have been improved, two aspiration levels have been altered to better represent their storylines. The Monoson house has had a slight makeover, and all uni kitchens now have food serving space!

This contains the main neighborhood, along with the University and downtown already attached. There are custom made townies and downtownies, and lots of families with varying storylines. All SC4 templates used are EA/Maxis originals: the main neighborhood uses the Bluewater template, Balise University uses Aridia, and Lustre Point uses Isla Segundo. Some lots in the Beacon Falls main neighborhood use similarly designed housing, to give a look of completeness. Though these are all decorated and furnished differently.

A number of lots placed in the Lustre Point downtown have been used over again, as before this was to 'fill out' the neighborhood. Some of these are decorated and furnished differently, but others are exact copies. People contributing to the community project were enthusiastic, a lot of it was done 'for the fun of it', and not everything is perfect!
If you want alternatives or replacements for the repeated downtown lots, there are some I've made over, and others that I have updated for use as actual apartments. These updated lots are available separately here on the website. They use items from earlier EP's and SP's, and many require up to Mansion and Gardens. All lots are marked to say which EP's/SP's they need.
If you DON'T have some of those EP's, please check the lots before sending Sims to visit otherwise you may find some walls, floors and furnishing missing when you enter the lot.

This version was put together for people having problems downloading the larger file. It contains only the main neighborhood and the main story characters, along with any
sims needed to fill out their story. There are fewer characters and townies than in the full version. This uses the EA/Maxis original Bluewater template, some lots use similarly designed housing, to give a look of completeness. Though these are all decorated and furnished differently.
This version would also be useful if you don't like the downtown or uni we've made, or if you want to create you own! However, if you wish to assemble the Uni and downtown buildings yourself, then they are available separately on the website.

BF 'Lite' Lots and Families
Balise University This folder incudes three university lots which contain students - 5 Vine Street, Flotsam Halls and Willow Dormitory. The other lots are all empty, please note that the folder doesn't include a secret society lot.
Lustre PointThis folder includes lots specially created for Lustre Point: the main folder contains empty lots, the second folder contains lots with playable families.
This is now one complete download, however the folders within are clearly marked, so that you can delete any you don't want to use. Remember, please do not install University lots to a non university neighbourhood, as this might cause an aging problem right across your town.

Balloth-Information & Download

Note: Some Sims in this subhood share the same Life Time Want, some also share the same zodiac sign. This was not intentional, families were made by different people who in turn gave them personalities, and that is what ultimately decides these things. If this bothers you, the LTW can be changed in-game by using the ReNuYu Senso Orb aspiration reward object.

To change just the LTW with a hack, you could try the college clock or the ffs debugger from MATY. You do not need to register in order to download, to find them go to the main page, then find Awesomeware/The Armory/Hack Directory - All Hacks/and click whichever is your latest EP/hacks, and find whatever you want from the list you'll see there.

To change both the LTW and the zodiac sign try either of these:
Sim Blender by twojeffs
Sim Manipulator by Aaroneous
Note that both sites will require registration.

Balloth was made using Numenor’s AnyGameStarter program, with a base game and OfB set up. It requires Open for Business but is compatible with other EP's.
Any neighborhood already associated with Bluewater or any other business district will remain so; this new district will not affect your existing neighborhoods. Subsequently any neighborhood you now associate with Balloth will keep its attachment and will require you to delete it in game via the trashcan icon if you want to remove it.

Installation Instructions
Go to your Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Open for Business\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate. Place the B628 folder into the NeighborhoodTemplate folder. *NOT* into your my Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods folders.

When you start your game and choose to add an Open for Business subdistrict, Balloth will appear in the menu, click on the arrow to add Balloth.
To allow Balloth to show up in your menu and stop the big blue button from getting in your way, please use Mootilda's hack. Also many thanks go to Mootilda at MTS for her Subhood Tutorial, and for her HoodChecker program. Links can be found in the list to the right of this page.

Balloth-Extra EP Lots

Stuff pack items (from Celebration, HandM, maybe Teen Style) were used to make or decorate many of the extra EP lots. Stuff packs don't alter the game coding in the same way an Expansion Pack does, so if you don't have one of the SP's the lots shouldn't crash, but any SP items the lot would have contained will be missing.

There are four houses and six business lots, further information is included with the files.

Hola! Welcome to Prometedor!
Made on an edited version of the Belladonna template, this is an island vacation subhood for The Sims 2 Bon Voyage. It contains 10 of each local and tourist custom made sims and has a Baja Coast/Spanish/Mexican feel, with buildings here being inspired by images from those areas.
It has been designed to complement the Beacon Falls hood, but it can be added to any neighbourhood, alongside the existing holiday destinations.

Prometedor now contains a secret vacation lot. See the Read Me file for further details.

Installation instructions
These are the same as those already posted on the page for Isle St Croix, but in a nutshell:
Back up your game.
Place the T609 folder into your Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate, NOT into your My Documents\EA Games folder.

If you are only installing this BV sub district, it should show up in your game once it has been placed in the correct Program Files folder. If you can't see it in the selection menu then please download Mootilda's hack . This allows further Bon Voyage sub districts to show up in your menu, rather than swapping out files in order for them to show properly.

Requires Mansions and Gardens, but was made with all other EP's and SP's installed. If you are missing any of those, then please check the lots before sending Sims to visit, so that you can redecorate or replace any non showing items. The folder you download has two versions of the same lot: one containing all the necessary CC, and one without it, but with it all in a folder for you to install separately.
You are strongly advised to read the explanation included with the download.

Isle St Croix is a custom made mountain vacation resort for the Sims 2 Bon Voyage. It was designed to complement the Beacon Falls hood, but can be added to any neighbourhood you choose, alongside the existing holiday destinations.
There is now a version of this subhood available at Mod The Sims, the one here is lager than the one there, but otherwise they are both exactly the same.

For your own benefit, and *BEFORE INSTALLING* this neighborhood, please Back-Up your My documents\EA Games folder. If anything were to go wrong, delete your current My Documents\EA Games folder and replace it with the back up.
NEVER overwrite a neighborhood folder, that would CORRUPT THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND MAKE IT UNUSABLE. Isle St. Croix should be safe, this is 'just in case' advice if anything should go wrong.

Nothing else needs deleting/moving or backing up in your Program Files folder, Isle St. Croix will not replace any of your Bon Voyage destinations as it has a different ID and folder number. It will be available as a choice in the list of vacation destinations when you click to choose a holiday neighborhood. This won't affect any other holiday destinations, it is 'as well as' and not instead of any Bon Voyage neighborhood that you currently play.

This default neighborhood has been made with AnyGameStarter using Uni/NL/OfB/Seasons and BV. You NEED to have BV, if you don't have some of the other EP's, the specific items I've used from them wouldn't show up. If you still want Isle St. Croix but have missing EP's, it would be a good idea to check the lots before sending sims on holiday there in order to replace those non-showing things with other wall coverings, floorings and items.

To install
Place the M409 folder into your Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplateVoyage\TSData\ResNeighborhoodTemplate, and *NOT* into your My Documents\EA Games folder.
If you have any problems, please contact lechapeau using the email address at the end of these instructions.

To uninstall Isle St. Croix
Simply delete the M409 folder from your Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate. If Isle St. Croix is already attached to any of your neighborhoods, please note that deleting it from the Program files will not take it away from those neighborhoods. It will just delete this neighborhood from the list of Bon Voyage destinations available in your menu.
To delete it from an actual neighborhood you, will need to use the trashcan icon from within the game.
Isle St. Croix and Prometedor both now contain secret vacation lots, issues we knew of causing problems in certain lots are now fixed. Please see the Read Me file, for further details.

Isle St. Croix - Add-on and Extra Lots

Heartland House
This is an extra lot for Isle St Croix. It was built for a section across the bridge in Isle St Croix that would only be accessible to people using a camera hack.
Ideally, you need the Pets EP for this one, mainly because of the black fence/trim around the staging, however it
will still work without it.The attached map shows the ideal place on the Island to place the lot to avoid the ground warping, however it is up to you where you put it.

New Isle St.Croix Community Lots

Up2MandG_St. Croix Inn
This is a beach lot, including a restaurant, bar and games tables. This has been built and furnished in a full EP/SP game, and it requires the Mansion and Gardens SP. If you are missing any of the other packs I might have used while putting it together, it should still install correctly and show up in your game, but I would advise you to check and see if any decor needs replacing, or if there are any furniture items missing.

Up2MandG_St. Croix Slopes

This is a lot containing CC, there is a READ ME with all of the information you need. Credit and thanks to Jasana Bugbreeder at MTS for the snowy slide hill, and to corvidophile2 for the small invisible ice rink. This and the larger rink are available at The Sims2 Graveyard, they were formally available at SironaSims, and corvidophile2 asks on their MTS profile for credit to go to that site. I am not sure if items from specific EP's or SP's were used, again, please check before sending sims there in order to replace missing decor or furnishings.
A terrain paint by Cyclonesue@TSR is included with the lot, I used this where I placed the invisible rink to represent the water/ice. If you have a more suitable terrain, or do not want to install this item then please uncheck it in Clean Installer to keep it out of your game.

Note: If you want St.Croix Slopes to be snowy, as shown in the images included with the lot, then I suggest using Pescado's ffs debugger, place it on the lot in build mode (perhaps hide it under a foundation, or in any available roof space). When your sim visits the lot, click on the ffs debuger and choose 'weather', then click 'snow'. Levels of snow vary, and light snow might melt quickly. The hills look good with or without snow, but when it snows heavily it looks really pretty, and adds variation!
To download the ffs debuger, go to MATY, then to The Armory, then in the list find Hack Directory-All Hacks, and choose the one that best fits your game set up.

Download-Bedding, Paintings and a Lamp!

jeni's Paintings and Bedding

jeni downloaded and played Beacon Falls. She generously made the paintings and bedding for us to share on the original Beacon Falls website (back when it was LustrePoint.com).
The paintings are EA/Maxis recolors and do not require a mesh. The file is dated 2007, they might require OfB or Seasons. This is the original Zip, the files are uncompressed. jeni's items have never been added to the blog here, many 'add-on' files didn't get reuploaded when we changed over, but having gone through my files, here they are if you want them!

The Lighthouse Table Lamp was generously made especially by simaddict99@TSR to put up at the original Beacon Falls website, as a bonus/thank you gift to mark us reaching a total of 500 downloads in 2007. (I think, or it could have been 2008!) But by the time it was added to the site, we had actually reached 1,000 downloads.
The lamp was never added to the blog here, many of the 'add-on' files didn't get put back here when we changed over. But I thought I would add it here again now as another 'Thank you', because in the year the files have been held on Mediafire, and in the time Isle St. Croix has been hosted at MTS (as well as here), the number of total downloads across both sites have again well exceeded 1,000.
I am amazed, truly, I would never have expected that to happen!
Anyway, as the lamp was made for the Beacon Falls team, I feel I ought to be able to share it. Our Lighthouse Table Lamp was a personal gift, and was never released at TSR (although she released a similar garden lamp there a little later on (both look to be resized edits of the EA/Maxis NH deco)).
The file has been compressorized (hence the date on the package). I've searched, but I can't find the original. My thanks still to simaddict99 for her support back then, and credit to her for her work.

Single lots for Beacon Falls and Lustre Point
On this page you will find two extra families for download, as well as several houses and a community lot. These are only single lots, apartments or community lots here, other lots which have been grouped together to make larger download can be found on their own page. (Because too many lots, with all of their pictures seemed to keep messing up the page!)
The file names, or in the text beside each lot should give you an indication of which EP's/SP's you will need. When you unpack the Rar file, you will find each lot in its own folder, along with further images of the lots or families, so that you can see what they contain and decide whether you want to keep or discard them. If there are specific instructions, you will be able to find them all in a Read Me file.

Again, a set of grouped together lots for Beacon Falls and/or for Lustre Point are on their own page. Lots specifically meant for Balloth will be on the Balloth add-on lots page, and add-on lots meant for Isle St.Croix or Prometedor will be on each of their own pages.

Beacon House

Looking at the date on the file, I think this requires OfB. The lot is based on a real house of this exact name which I saw walking along above the beachfront in Whitstable, Kent. So I had to try to recreate it!
It features three bedrooms, one of which would make an ideal nursery, two bathrooms, an open plan kitchen and dining area and a large living area. Outside it has a garage and patio area. The house is nestled within mature landscaped gardens.

Within Beacon Falls, the house was made to sit on the hill behind the Winchesters, and in front of the Bradfords. It would still need to be placed on a hill, or with higher ground at the back to avoid warping your neighborhood, but of course you can place it wherever you want. The cost is $127k.

This house was made to be placed in the poorer area of Lustre Point in dismal Lane. Because it was pointed out that there are fewer teen boys avaialable, either as friends or prospective love interests, venusdemilo made Dustin Cory and Shane Toler for us, and I made and moved them into their ramshackle old house! Then you choose what they should do; stay here and see how they cope all alone in the world, send them to live with someone else, or make them go to Uni!

Up2MandG_Windfall Apartments

I built this apartment next to the Tacky Towers lot, found above, but you can place it anywhere. The windows are those from OfB and are supposed to be black, but might look as if they are red in neighborhood view. If you have the latest CEP, they appear correctly once entering the lot. There are two apartements, decorated and furnished exactly the same on each level. This has been built and furnished in a full EP/SP game, and it requires the Mansion and Gardens SP. On this page you will find new or updated houses and apartment lots, meant to be placed in either Beacon Falls or Lustre Point. All of the lots here have been grouped together as a larger download. When you unpack the Rar file, you will find each lot in its own folder, along with images so you can see what they contain, and decide whether you want to keep or discard them. If they require certain EP's, this will be noted in their file name or in the accompanying text description.
Only the Stanford Building, in the LustrePoint_Redone as Apartments folder has specific information, which you will be able to find in the included Read Me file. Lots have been weather proofed for Seasons.

The single lots for Beacon Falls and Lustre Point are on another page. Then lots specifically meant for Balloth will be on the Balloth add-ons page, and lots meant for Isle St.Croix or Prometedor will on each of their add-on pages. The lots here can of course be placed anywhere you choose, and in any neighborhood you might want to have them in. Locations have been given to use as guidance only!

LustrePoint_NEW_Houses

Beacon Falls Starter and Beacon Falls Bigger are the two houses seen at the top of the picture. They have been built in a similar style, with the starter being obviously smaller, is more basically furnished and has no external decor. I believe these require Seasons.

3 and 6 Belisha Point require the Mansions and Gardens SP, and are the two houses which can be seen at the bottom of the picture.
I made these for specific sims, and they are set in the left hand corner of Lustre Point, nearer the waters edge and towards the corner, opposite Lustre Park in my own game.
Pictures of the front and back of 6 Belisha Point can be seen in the middle and right hand side, this was based on a lot that I think I saw on Insiminator, I had been unable to install it properly. I remember I liked it enough to try to recreate it, but having checked there, I can't give credit to the original creator for the idea because their features page doesn't seem to go back far enough, and I can't find it in the list of downloadable lots. If you know who it made the first version, then please contact me and I will happily change this section to give full thanks, credit and a better link. (I think theirs was a beach lot)

Please note that these files have the same 'Isle St. Croix' name as the subhood, because I named my subhood after the template. My apologies for not being more creative with my naming!

Jon is recently divorced from his wife Megan, and lives with fiance Katie Ricard, his teen son Eric and twin daughters Jessie and Jolie. Katie had known Jon and Megan since their days together at college; Megan hadn't thought twice when 'friend' Katie came knocking, saying that she needed help and shelter and took her in immediately.
Katie might claim the attraction felt between herself and Jon was so strong, that the resulting affair was inevitable. Jon would probably lift an eyebrow, and say that he wasn't quite sure, "it just happened". The children would look at each other, and try to explain that one minute everything seemed normal, and the next their mother started acting oddly, and that Katie "had to keep sorting things out" for her. They were left reeling by the sudden family break up, when after a huge fight, Megan walked out.
Megan's side of things will be told later, in her own story. But what other motives does Katie have?
With her waiting, and eager to for Jon to make a commitment, their future is yours to decide.

A business deal which Tamal made had gone very, very wrong, then to her amazement he promised a betrothal between Carmina and a local mafia member's son to pay off the debt! Mekala felt pushed to protect her daughter; she isn't proud of the life she has been forced to live whilst in hiding, but is tired of being on the run. She is fearful of Tamal, and worried at what he might try to do if he finds them.

Tamal remains an angry man, because with Mekala going against him, all he had and worked is now lost, and he claims their lives are now at risk from those out to take their revenge...

He isn't dealing well with the emotions that losing his brother is bringing out, and he sits sad and lonely in his room, hating the world. Lloyd's widow Amy lives in what was meant to be their new home with their two young daughters. She understands that Valerie misses Lloyd desperately, after all he had been their "golden boy"; Amy can see that her mother-in-law wants something to keep her occupied, she means well, but there are some things Amy needs to decide on her own.

Unable to put up with the isolation, and brought down by her husband's dark moods, his wife walked out and left some time before. Their son, Mack, also went away after becoming mixed up with 'the wrong crowd'; only returning to drop off his toddler son, Vincent's grandson Nathan.
Now a teen, Nathan has only just been sent to school since social services threatened to remove him from Vincent's care if he continued his absence. He is shy and withdrawn because all he has even known is his grandfather's madness, and this lonely secluded life.

So, is Ianthe's affair with the maid for real, 'just because he can'; or as he says, a ploy, or set up, which should force Artemis out of her shell?

Their teenage son Ronald, prefers to keep his distance and likes being the black sheep of the family. Their youngest daughter Dorothy is a drama queen, with some interesting thoughts on how to get what she wants in life!
Also living with them is Joann's sister, 'the mooch' Priscilla, who thinks James is a pushover. James, in return hates giving her house space, and threatens to put his foot down the next time he catches another one of her lovers in HIS house!

Judith's career is very important to her, she has moved to Beacon Falls to enhance her opportunities. Her husband Frank is in the police, and is fed up with daughter Andrea getting into trouble, and of him having to bail her out and cover her tracks! Judith is so wrapped up in work that she has let a lot of things slide, including personal relationships. Frank is tired of being taken for granted, and is becoming increasingly close to neighbor Patricia Douglas. Will they find comfort in each others arms?

And all fun-loving Nevada cares for is having a good time. Is Arizona headed the same way, or is there still hope? Will anyone they meet her in Beacon Falls have a more positive impact on their lives?

The girls are very different and don't get along well; Ellie is popular and has many friends, she resents Hillary whom she sees as nerdy and boring.

At the top of the picture, on the left hand side are Jackie Jenkins and Bek Hawkes. At the top right hand side is Jesse Gee, and in the bottom right hand side are brothers Rick and Wallace Mazario.

In the bottom left hand side is Timothy Borak, who he was made by mistwind.

Balise University Y/A's

At the top left, you have Carmel Fontaine and Grant Chase, made by mselah. Next to them on the right are Ruby and Scarlet Vermelho, who are sisters just beginning their university studies. They have come through a personal tragedy, but each are dealing with it differently: one is throwing herself into study, and the other just wants to go wild and enjoy herself!
Lastly, at the bottom of the picture you have Sims from the Sam Pri lot:
Westley Tyler Price has been shipped off to college by his parents, and is making his way through quite well so far. Can he keep his relationship with Buffy healthy, while still maintaining his dream?
Marissa Kristi Samson is a down to earth kind of gal, just wanting to be accepted. But people seem to pass her by and head straight for her sister Buffy; and with the flick of her hair, Buffy seems to have them wrapped around her finger! Can you help Marissa find happiness and acceptance?
Buffy Chantel Samson is a social butterfly, good looking and extremely outgoing, with all of her friends she has anything an adolescent could ever want! But why does her sister bring her down?
